The premise
Two estranged brothers reunite at their missing father's video store to liquidate the property and sell off his assets. As they dig through the store, they find a VCR board game titled 'Beyond the Gates' that holds a connection to their father's disappearance and deadly consequences for anyone who plays it.

When two estranged brothers return to their late father's video store to settle his affairs, they uncover a dusty VHS board game that seems to have a sinister link to his mysterious disappearance. Guided by a hostess trapped on the tape, each roll of the dice draws the brothers deeper into a nightmare with very real and very bloody consequences. Part love letter to 1980s VHS culture and part occult horror, Beyond the Gates blends retro aesthetics with genuine dread.
