A weekend getaway turns nightmare when a group of friends discover a smouldering sinkhole has opened up on the grounds near their remote Irish retreat. Something beneath the earth seems to be drawing them toward it — and whatever is down there has no intention of letting them leave. Rooted in the wild Irish countryside, the film builds a creeping sense of dread as the friends' bonds are tested by forces they cannot explain or control.
