The premise
After Using the instructions found in an old Jewish diary, Markus and Thomas hope to gain access to a WW II underground military base formerly codenamed: Cerusit. It was used by the Nazis as a secret research institute and is shrouded in rumors to this day about the lost gold of the Third Reich. The entrance to the cave system, however, lies right within the restricted area of a U.S. military base.. the first of many problems Markus and Thomas will have to face.

Armed with clues from a dusty wartime diary, two amateur explorers set their sights on a sealed Nazi underground facility rumored to hide the Third Reich's lost gold — only to discover that trespassing on an active U.S. military base is the least of their worries. What lurks inside the bunker's tunnels has been waiting a very long time. Shot in a found-footage style, the film cranks up the dread as the pair venture deeper into a darkness that should have stayed buried. History, horror, and dark humor collide in this low-budget German genre mash-up.
