Trapped in a loveless immortal marriage and numbed by the passage of ages, Count Geza von Kösznöm is overdue for some serious self-reflection. This Austrian horror-comedy blends period charm with sharp wit, mining the absurdity of a creature of the night lying on the analyst's couch. Equal parts gothic atmosphere and dry humor, it's a playful riff on vampire mythology filtered through the lens of psychoanalysis.
