When soldiers return home from Vietnam, they bring with them something far worse than the horrors of combat — a monstrous hunger that cannot be suppressed. What begins as a disturbing personal affliction quickly spills into the streets of Atlanta, threatening to consume an entire city. Director Antonio Bido's Italian genre entry blends Vietnam-era disillusionment with gut-churning exploitation as the infection spreads beyond any hope of containment. This is grindhouse horror at its rawest, with John Saxon anchoring a cast plunged into escalating carnage.
