The premise

When several young girls are found dead, left hideously aged and void of blood, Dr. Marcus suspects vampirism. He enlists the help of the Vampire Hunter. Mysterious and powerful, Kronos has dedicated his life to destroying the evil pestilence. Once a victim of its diabolical depravity, he knows the vampire's strengths and weaknesses as well as the extreme dangers attached to confronting the potent forces of darkness.

Horror Vault's take

When young women in a quiet village begin turning up inexplicably aged and drained of life, a local physician calls upon the legendary Captain Kronos — a brooding, blade-wielding specialist in all things vampiric. Unlike the cloaked creatures of classic lore, the vampire threat here takes on a distinctly unconventional form that keeps both Kronos and the audience guessing. Equal parts gothic horror and swashbuckling adventure, this Hammer production cuts a uniquely stylish figure in the crowded vampire genre. Kronos brings his hard-won, personal knowledge of the undead to bear in a hunt that is as much cerebral as it is action-driven.
