The premise
The sinister Dr. Watt has an evil scheme going—he's kidnapping beautiful young women and turning them into mannequins to sell to local stores. Fortunately for him, Detective Sergeant Bung is on the case, and he doesn't have a clue!

When young women begin vanishing on the foggy outskirts of Edwardian England, the magnificently useless Detective Sergeant Bung is dispatched to crack the case — which, predictably, he cannot. Behind a creaking gothic mansion lurks the suave and sinister Dr. Watt, whose dastardly enterprise blends classic monster-movie tropes with gloriously groan-worthy British humour. Carry On Screaming! is the Carry On series at its most lovingly monstrous, skewering Hammer Horror conventions with affectionate precision.
