The premise
Cryptozoologist Doctor Peña traps the legendary Chupacabra on a remote Caribbean Island to make his name in the scientific community. When he smuggles it aboard the cruise ship Regent Queen, commanded by Captain Randolph, the monster breaks out of the cargo hold and makes a smorgasbord out of the passengers and crew.

When an obsessed cryptozoologist smuggles a captured Chupacabra aboard a luxury cruise ship, the legendary predator has no intention of staying contained. With the vessel cut off from help and passengers falling prey one by one, the ship's captain and a small band of survivors must find a way to stop a creature that science has never officially acknowledged. Equal parts creature feature and high-seas thriller, this mid-2000s B-movie leans into its outlandish premise with gusto. Fans of no-frills monster mayhem will find plenty to enjoy in its claustrophobic shipboard setting.
