A glamorous socialite follows a charming stranger to the quiet coastal town of Bodega Bay, only to find her arrival coincides with something deeply wrong in the natural world. The local birds — gulls, sparrows, crows — begin gathering in impossible numbers and launching vicious, coordinated attacks on the townspeople. Alfred Hitchcock builds the terror methodically, letting unease simmer long before the feathers fly. What starts as an idyllic escape becomes a siege with no clear explanation and no guaranteed way out.
