In a ravaged, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles where acid rain poisons the air and civilisation has crumbled, five army deserters duck into an abandoned facility hoping to wait out the worst of it. What they find inside is far deadlier than the toxic world they fled. Cramped corridors and failing infrastructure set the stage for a grim battle against something grotesque and relentless. Low-budget B-movie energy collides with genuine creature-feature nastiness in this cult-friendly slice of late-80s sci-fi horror.
