The premise
In war-torn Balkans, bogus monster hunter Harlan Draka is hired by soldiers who happen to be under attack by an army of actual vampires, uncovering the hidden truth about his past in the process: he is half-human and half-vampire... a Dampyr.

Set against the brutal chaos of the Balkan conflict, Dampyr follows a self-proclaimed monster hunter whose fraudulent trade takes a very real and very dangerous turn when soldiers drag him into a genuine vampire crisis. Rooted in the beloved Italian Bonelli comic series, the film plunges its reluctant hero into a world of ancient bloodsuckers and dark folklore. As the carnage escalates, Harlan Draka is forced to confront unsettling questions about his own nature that go far deeper than any battlefield wound.
