Years after a zombie apocalypse has laid waste to civilization, a ragged band of survivors hunkers down in an underground bunker, dependent on military protection and dwindling hope. When a medical professional among them pursues a potential cure, the threat lurking outside the walls finds a way to make itself terrifyingly personal. Tight quarters and dwindling trust push the group to their limits as the undead press ever closer. This 2017 reimagining of the Romero classic trades slow-burn dread for visceral, relentless tension.
