The premise
When a small town doctor buries his twin brother, a practitioner of the black arts, he believes him dead; but subsequent events force him to realize that his brother has, in fact, returned from the dead as a vampire and is seeking revenge on the doctor, who had killed him in self-defense.

In a quiet small town, a respectable doctor thinks he has seen the last of his twin brother — a devotee of dark arts — after laying him to rest. But an unsettling series of events soon suggests that death may not have been the final word. Something is preying on the living, and the trail of dread leads straight back to the family crypt. This lean early-40s chiller leans into classic Gothic atmosphere and the sinister double-act of twin brothers on opposite sides of the grave.
