This made-for-TV anthology weaves together three chilling tales that each explore the price of tampering with forces beyond human understanding. One story sends a man hurtling through time via an otherworldly vehicle, while another ventures into classic vampire territory with an old-world sense of dread. The third and arguably most haunting segment follows a grieving mother whose desperate wish to reclaim her drowned son opens a door she may not be able to close. Together the segments build a portrait of human longing twisted into nightmare.
