The premise

While on a flight home from Colombia, the plane that Dr. Carrie Ross and her daughter are on is attacked by bullet ants whose sting is the most painful and deadliest on the planet. Joining forces with air marshal Ethan Hart, Dr. Ross, an entomologist, tries desperately to save the flight from disaster. In the end, their struggle brings them closer together and offers the couple hope for the future.

When a flight from Colombia becomes hunting ground for a swarm of lethally venomous bullet ants, entomologist Dr. Carrie Ross finds herself uniquely positioned to understand the threat — but understanding it and stopping it are very different things. Trapped at altitude with her daughter and a plane full of terrified passengers, she reluctantly teams up with an air marshal to keep the situation from spiralling into catastrophe. This made-for-TV creature feature delivers claustrophobic tension and pulpy thrills in equal measure, leaning hard into the nightmare of being hunted in an inescapable metal tube thousands of feet in the air.
