The premise
An FBI Agent pairs with a troubled Taiwan cop to hunt for a serial killer who's embedding a mysterious fungus in the brains of victims.

When a string of bizarre murders surfaces in Taipei — each victim killed in an eerily impossible way — a seasoned FBI agent is dispatched to assist a burned-out local detective who has his own personal demons to wrestle with. At the heart of the case lies a strange organic substance found inside the victims, blurring the line between pathology and something far older and more sinister. The two investigators must bridge a cultural and professional divide as the body count rises and the killer's logic begins to feel disturbingly otherworldly. Double Vision blends procedural tension with creeping supernatural dread in a way that few East-West co-productions have attempted.
