The premise
Teenagers from a small town and their high school science teacher join forces to battle a giant mutant spider, living in a cave nearby and getting hungry.

When a monstrous spider is discovered lurking in the cave system outside a quiet small town, a group of teenagers and their science teacher find themselves the unlikely first line of defense. The creature is enormous, ravenous, and far more resilient than anyone dares to admit. This late-50s creature feature delivers classic B-movie thrills wrapped in the rock 'n' roll era anxieties of its time.
