The premise
A shy comic book fan is injected with an experimental serum and starts turning into a spider. When web covered bodies start appearing a policeman starts to investigate the strange case.

A meek comic book devotee's dream of becoming a superhero takes a horrifying turn after he injects himself with an experimental serum, triggering a monstrous physical transformation he cannot control. As silk-wrapped victims begin turning up around town, a dogged detective closes in on the truth behind the gruesome killings. Equal parts creature feature and cautionary tale, the film puts a dark, horror-tinged spin on the superhero origin story. Fans of body horror will find plenty to squirm at as the line between man and monster steadily dissolves.
