The premise
In a decaying world where demons secretly thrive on human misery, a fragile peace is shattered when their vital life source vanishes, driving the species toward extinction. The disillusioned demon Vine finds himself the unwilling pivot in an apocalyptic clash, forced to decide between the survival of his kin and the life of an innocent girl. As the battle for Earth ignites, his choice will either preserve the shadows or burn both worlds to the ground.

In a hidden underworld layered beneath everyday human existence, demons have long fed on mankind's misery — until something threatens to cut off their supply entirely. At the center of the unraveling chaos stands Vine, a demon too world-weary to be a true believer in his own kind's cause, caught between loyalty and conscience. When the fate of an innocent girl becomes entangled with the survival of an entire species, Fire City asks what it really means to choose a side at the end of everything.
