The premise

On a flight from Los Angeles to Paris, a mad scientist on the run from the CIA is transporting a coffin containing the body of a colleague infected with a genetically modified virus. While the 747 crosses a violent thunderstorm, the instability of the aircraft allows the corpse to get out of its container.

Horror Vault's take

Thousands of feet above the Atlantic, passengers aboard a transatlantic 747 have no idea that a highly classified and deeply dangerous cargo is tucked away in the hold. When turbulence disrupts a rogue scientist's carefully laid plans, the flight transforms into a desperate, high-altitude battle for survival. Think 'Snakes on a Plane' — but trade the reptiles for the relentless undead. The confined setting cranks up the claustrophobic tension as the infection spreads with nowhere to run.
