A troubled group of teenagers on a wilderness excursion quickly discovers that the mountain forests hold something far deadlier than rough terrain — a flock of vicious, disease-carrying birds with a taste for human prey. Escape seems possible when the group stumbles upon a nearby settlement, but the nightmare follows close behind. With a lethal virus spreading and the creatures circling, the race to survive becomes a battle against both tooth and contagion.
