The premise

Five years after a brutal gang assault, a young office worker has quietly rebuilt her life — until the past comes knocking at her door and refuses to leave. Cornered and with nowhere to turn, she makes a series of desperate, ice-cold decisions that blur the line between victim and predator. Japanese director Takashi Ishii crafts a slow-burn revenge nightmare that is as psychologically suffocating as it is viscerally confronting.
