The premise

After the Bowzock, a ruthless — not to mention reckless — gang of interstellar biker thugs, destroy his home planet of Hazard, Dappu visits Earth where he discovers five humans with the ability to harness "Carmagic." With this power, these five heroes can defeat the Bowzock before the band of witless bikers is able to add Earth to its list of wrecked worlds.

Horror Vault's take

When a chaotic gang of intergalactic biker criminals obliterates an entire planet, the lone survivor races to Earth seeking unlikely champions. Five ordinary car mechanics discover they've been chosen to wield a mysterious automotive power against an enemy that's equal parts dangerous and bumbling. Carranger leans hard into self-aware parody, delivering giant robot battles and kaiju showdowns wrapped in gleeful slapstick. It's one of the Super Sentai franchise's most intentionally comedic entries, poking fun at the very tropes it embodies.
