Three brave — or perhaps reckless — filmmakers lock themselves inside some of Nevada's most notoriously haunted locations, armed with cameras and a willingness to confront whatever lurks in the dark. Shot in a raw, handheld style, the film captures the investigators' genuine reactions as they seek out the spirits said to inhabit the crumbling landmarks of Virginia City and Goldfield. What begins as a ghost hunt quickly becomes something far more visceral and personal, blurring the line between documentary curiosity and survival instinct.
