The premise
A giant grizzly bear stalks 8 troubled young adults and a park ranger in a forest reserve called Grizzly Park after making the demise of an escaped serial killer.
Horror Vault's take
Eight court-ordered young offenders are sent to Grizzly Park for community service under the watch of a seasoned ranger — but the wilderness has its own brand of justice waiting for them. A massive grizzly bear with a taste for trouble turns their outdoor rehabilitation into a deadly game of survival. Equal parts tongue-in-cheek and genuinely dangerous, the film leans into its campy premise without ever letting its characters get too comfortable. Fans of killer animal horror will feel right at home among the trees.
