The premise

Virginia is proud that she belongs to a clique. The best students at a private school. But before her 18th birthday, a gruesome set of murders take place and her friends are the ones who are falling prey. Could it be her? She suffers from blackouts due to a freak accident one year earlier. We soon learn the truth behind her accident and what is going on.

Horror Vault's take

At an exclusive prep school, Virginia runs with the most coveted clique on campus — but as her 18th birthday approaches, her friends begin vanishing one by one in increasingly gruesome fashion. Virginia herself is no reliable witness: haunted by blackouts tied to a mysterious accident from the year before, she can't be certain of anything, including her own innocence. A distinctly Canadian entry in the early-80s slasher wave, the film leans into giallo-influenced mystery and mounting dread as the body count climbs. The answers, when they come, are as twisted as the kills.
