The premise

It's been generations since the Harkers' great-great grandfather killed Count Dracula. Now the Harker brothers and their best friend Ned are a town joke - until a real vampire turns up.

The Harker family name once meant something — their ancestor famously drove a stake through Count Dracula's heart — but generations later, the Harker brothers and their hapless pal Ned are little more than the town's punchline. When an actual vampire surfaces in their community, these laughingstock legacy hunters suddenly find themselves face to fang with a threat no one else is prepared to handle. Part loving send-up of classic vampire mythology and part scrappy indie comedy, the film mines its premise for maximum absurdist humor while still delivering the bloodsucking goods.
