When nuclear war reduces civilization to ash, a small band of survivors holes up in a remote refuge, hoping the outside world will simply leave them alone. It won't. Beyond the eerie mist that surrounds their shelter, irradiated and mutated survivors grow increasingly desperate — and dangerous. What begins as an uneasy wait becomes a tense standoff between the last remnants of ordinary humanity and something far harder to define. This low-budget TV movie trades on atmosphere and creeping dread rather than spectacle.
