The premise
After returning home from the Vietnam War, veteran Jacob Singer struggles to maintain his sanity. Plagued by hallucinations and flashbacks, Singer rapidly falls apart as the world and people around him morph and twist into disturbing images. His girlfriend, Jezzie, and ex-wife, Sarah, try to help, but to little avail. Even Singer's chiropractor friend, Louis, fails to reach him as he descends into madness.

Jacob Singer survived Vietnam, but whatever came home with him may be something far darker than combat stress. As waking life bleeds into nightmare on the streets of 1970s New York, the people closest to him can't keep his grip on reality from slipping. Demons — whether metaphorical or literal — close in from every direction, leaving viewers questioning what is real alongside Jacob himself. A deeply unsettling descent into one man's fractured psyche that operates equally well as psychological thriller and supernatural horror.
