The premise
Beautiful vampire Djuna tries to resist the advances of the handsome, human screenwriter Paolo, but eventually gives in to their passion. When her seductive and highly volatile sister Mimi unexpectedly comes to visit, she threatens Djuna's new relationship, and the whole vampire community becomes endangered.

A vampire who has made peace with a restrained existence finds her carefully ordered life upended when she surrenders to an irresistible attraction to a mortal man. The arrival of her dangerously unpredictable sister throws their fragile world into chaos, threatening not just one budding romance but the carefully maintained secrets of an entire hidden community. Steeped in European art-house atmosphere and old-school vampire glamour, this is a film more interested in longing and consequence than shock and gore.
