The premise
The first World War rages on when a group of American soldiers find a mysterious artifact that can summon the ancient evil of the Krampus. After the men are killed in action, the artifact is sent to the commanding officer's widow who is a teacher at a small-town orphanage. The orphans accidentally summon the Krampus and the teacher, and her pupils are forced to battle this ancient evil.

When American soldiers uncover a cursed relic on the WWI battlefield, they unknowingly set in motion a chain of events that reaches the home front — specifically, a quiet orphanage run by a grieving widow. The artifact's dark power draws the legendary Krampus, the punishing shadow of Christmas myth, into the lives of the children in her care. Outmatched and terrified, teacher and orphans alike must find the courage to stand against a creature born from centuries of fearful tradition. It's a bleak yuletide nightmare that trades holiday cheer for desperate survival.
