The premise
A group of scientists try to stop a swarm of flesh-eating locusts that escape from a top secret government lab in the USA Midwest.

When a classified government laboratory loses control of its most dangerous experiment, a swarm of genetically engineered flesh-eating locusts descends on the American Midwest. A team of scientists races against time as the infestation spreads and the body count climbs. Part creature feature, part race-against-the-clock thriller, this TV-movie brings biblical-scale disaster to rural America with a sci-fi twist.
