Horror Vault's take

A bickering suburban couple escapes the city for a long weekend at a secluded Australian coastal wilderness — but their casual disregard for the natural world around them seems to invite something deeply hostile in return. Director Colin Eggleston builds an oppressive sense of dread as the landscape itself appears to turn against the pair. Equal parts relationship drama and eco-horror, the film is a slow-burn portrait of two people who are already falling apart before the wilderness gets its say.
