The premise

Dracula and Renfield relocate to '70s era New York in search of Cindy Sondheim, the reincarnation of Dracula's one true love, Mina Harker. "Trouble adjusting" is a wild understatement for the Count as he battles Cindy's psychiatrist, Jeffrey Rosenberg, a descendant of Van Helsing, who may be in love with Cindy too.

Horror Vault's take

When Dracula is evicted from his Transylvanian castle, he and the hapless Renfield descend on 1970s New York City in pursuit of a woman the Count believes is his destined eternal love. The culture shock is immediate and relentless — disco, cab drivers, and a city that refuses to be intimidated by an old-world vampire. Standing between Dracula and his beloved is a bumbling would-be Van Helsing who has romantic designs of his own. It's a gloriously campy romp that skewers both the classic Dracula mythology and the excesses of the Me Decade.
