The premise
Lucky Bastard is a "found footage" thriller about a porn website run by Mike (Don McManus) that invites fans to have sex with porn stars. Jay Paulson plays Dave, an eager young fan given a chance to have sex with the fabulous Ashley Saint (Betsy Rue). But everyone gets more than they bargained for in the seemingly mild-mannered Dave... with gruesome results. The film is captured by the "Lucky Bastard" porn cameras for a fresh take on the "found footage" genre

Lucky Bastard turns the cameras of a fan-fantasy porn website into the lens for something far more sinister. When a socially awkward contestant wins a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with a top adult film star, the production crew quickly discovers that their newest 'lucky' fan is anything but ordinary. Shot entirely through the studio's own surveillance and production cameras, the film weaponizes the found footage format to deliver a grimly believable descent into violence. It's a raw, provocative thriller that uses its sleazy setting to ask uncomfortable questions about who gets hurt when fantasy meets reality.
