The premise
Its the summer of 1974. Four friends have planned a recreational weekend hiking and camping in the forest. At a remote truck stop they pick up an anxious hitchhiker who only after a short ride demands they stop the vehicle. She is clearly frightened of somethingbut what she cant begin to describe in her carsick terror. Suddenly the group are ambushed and left unconscious.

Set against the sun-drenched yet menacing Scandinavian wilderness of 1974, this Norwegian horror follows four friends whose camping trip turns catastrophic after a chance encounter with a terrified hitchhiker signals something monstrous lurking in the forest. What begins as an idyllic getaway rapidly collapses into a desperate fight for survival as an unseen threat closes in. Drawing on the grindhouse spirit of classic 1970s backwoods horror, the film leans hard into raw brutality and relentless dread. Fans of European extreme horror will find little comfort and plenty of carnage here.
