Behind the white picket fence of a flawlessly curated 1950s household, one carefully planned dinner party begins to unravel in the most chemically assisted way imaginable. When an unexpected dose of LSD finds its way into the evening, polished smiles crack and long-buried truths claw their way to the surface. What starts as a portrait of mid-century domestic perfection descends into hallucinatory chaos that is equal parts horrifying and darkly absurd. The film uses its period setting to skewer the era's obsession with appearances while dragging its characters — and the audience — into a genuinely destabilising headspace.
