The premise
A doctor and his family receive an unexpected delivery from an old friend at their remote country home - a large wooden crate containing a gun, a female zombie and an instruction sheet telling them not to feed her meat. The family is concerned, of course, but she seems harmless enough. Perhaps she can help clean up outside?
Horror Vault's take
Shot in stark black and white, Miss Zombie follows a well-to-do family who take in a female zombie as little more than a household laborer — keeping her at arm's length while quietly probing the boundaries of what she still is. Director Sabu crafts a slow, suffocating portrait of control and curiosity as the family's orderly life begins to fray around its strange new resident. Part social parable, part dread-soaked character study, the film asks uncomfortable questions about humanity, empathy, and exploitation without ever rushing toward its answers.
