The premise
17-year-old Jakob wants nothing more than to feel alive. Uncontrollable anxiety attacks prevent him from doing so and force him to escape into virtual worlds. One night, he meets 26-year-old Kristjan in a cam chat. Their encounter marks the beginning of a transpersonal journey to the wounds of their souls.

Seventeen-year-old Jakob is trapped between a suffocating inner world and the numbing distance of screens, his crippling anxiety pushing him toward the edges of reality. A chance late-night encounter with an older stranger online sets both men on an unexpected, destabilizing journey inward. Austrian director Gregor Schmidinger crafts a visually immersive, hallucinatory portrait of queer longing and psychological fragility that blurs the line between the virtual and the visceral. This is less a conventional horror film than a hypnotic descent into the wounds we carry and the connections that either heal or deepen them.
