When a string of gruesome deaths surfaces in New York Harbor, a determined detective becomes convinced that something massive and very much alive is lurking beneath the water. With the 4th of July drawing enormous crowds to the waterfront, the clock is ticking and the authorities aren't listening. This straight-to-video creature feature drops a classic giant-monster threat into an urban setting, trading ocean isolation for the congested chaos of a major American city.
