The premise
Michael and Rachel are devastated when their six-year-old son dies in a tragic accident. When a stranger offers to bring the boy back to life, they take the offer. However, the child who returns is not the child they once knew.

When tragedy strikes a family and claims the life of their young son, a mysterious stranger appears with an offer no grieving parent should ever accept. The boy who comes home looks familiar, but something is deeply, disturbingly wrong beneath the surface. This TV movie leans into the horror of corrupted innocence, using a parent's unconditional love as the ultimate vulnerability. What was bought back may cost far more than what was lost.
