The premise
Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls finds themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago, as well as their own.

In the working-class town of Millwood, a masked killer emerges to make a new generation answer for crimes they didn't commit — but whose consequences they can't escape. Five very different teenage girls are thrust together as the target of a relentless, calculating Assailant with a bone to pick with their parents' past. This darker, grittier reimagining of the Pretty Little Liars universe leans hard into slasher terror, trading glamour for grit and genuine menace. As the body count threatens to rise, the girls must uncover a buried secret before it buries them.
