The premise
When the Police Service of Northern Ireland are unable to close a case after 28 days, Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson of the Metropolitan Police Service is called in to review the case. Under her new leadership, the local detectives must track down and stop a serial killer who is terrorising the city of Belfast.

Belfast is gripped by fear as a serial killer operates with chilling precision, and the city's own police force has run out of time. Enter Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson — a sharp, unflinching outsider from the Met dispatched to cut through the stagnation and lead the hunt. What follows is a slow-burn cat-and-mouse thriller that dares to spend as much time inside the killer's world as it does inside the investigation. The result is a deeply unsettling portrait of predator and pursuer, each more formidable than anyone around them expects.
