The premise
After surviving the slaughter of many Christians 350 years ago, a samurai denounces God for ignoring the pleas of believers. He sells his soul to Satan and receives the power to resurrect the dead to join him in a murderous rampage.

Set against the backdrop of a brutal historical massacre, a disillusioned samurai turns his back on God and strikes a bargain with the Devil, gaining the terrifying ability to raise the dead as his unholy army. What follows is a blood-soaked collision of feudal Japanese history and supernatural horror, anchored by a powerhouse ensemble led by Sonny Chiba and a young Hiroyuki Sanada.
