The premise

When a young boy loses his mother in a tragic accident, his grief pushes him toward a desperate and dangerous ritual in hopes of bringing her back. What follows is far darker than any reunion he could have imagined, as the spell tears open a door to something deeply malevolent. This Japanese horror film from 2023 leans into the emotional devastation of loss as fuel for its supernatural dread. The line between love and obsession becomes terrifyingly thin.
