The premise
A weekend at a lake house in the Louisiana Gulf turns into a nightmare for seven vacationers as they are subjected to fresh-water shark attacks.

Seven college friends escape to a secluded lake house in the Louisiana bayou, only to discover that the tranquil waters surrounding them are anything but safe. What begins as a sun-soaked getaway quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival as relentless shark attacks claim the group one by one. With no easy way out and danger lurking beneath every ripple, the vacationers must confront the terrifying reality that something is very wrong about these sharks being here at all.
