What starts as a wild pre-wedding night out spirals into something far more dangerous when a group of groomsmen cross paths with a captive creature that is very much not what it seems. Ancient, alluring, and lethally dangerous, the being at the center of this nightmare defies easy explanation — and easy escape. Director Gregg Bishop builds on the mythology first glimpsed in the anthology film V/H/S, expanding it into a relentless feature-length ordeal. The bachelor party format proves a surprisingly effective setup for a creature-feature siege that grows increasingly desperate.
