The premise
Ichabod Crane is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers.

When Ichabod Crane wakes up in the modern-day town of Sleepy Hollow, he quickly discovers that the darkness he fought during the Revolutionary War has followed him across centuries. Teaming up with a local detective, he must untangle a web of sinister secrets stretching back to America's founding fathers before an ancient evil claims the present. Part procedural, part supernatural epic, the show blends colonial history with demonic mythology in ways that keep the mysteries piling up episode after episode.
