Reclusive horror auteur Boris Arkadin carries a decades-old wound — the savage cult murder of his pregnant wife — that has quietly curdled into something monstrous. When he lures a group of actors to his isolated country manor under the guise of an audition, the boundary between performance and genuine peril begins to dissolve in deeply uncomfortable ways. Blending the aesthetics of underground snuff filmmaking with psychological manipulation, the film forces both its characters and its audience to question what they are truly watching. Arkadin's world is one where the camera never lies — or perhaps never tells the whole truth.
