The premise
When a space probe crash-lands on a far-flung Pacific atoll, the craft's alien stowaways decide to take over their new world one creature at a time. Soon, the parasitic life forms latch onto three indigenous critters -- a squid, a crab and a snapping turtle -- and transform them into colossal mutant monsters.

A rogue space probe delivers more than data when it crashes onto a remote Pacific island — it brings alien parasites with a taste for conquest. Three of the island's native creatures fall under extraterrestrial influence and grow into towering, city-scale terrors. A team of humans on the atoll must contend with monsters on all sides as the alien intelligence pursues its agenda. Classic Toho kaiju spectacle blended with science-fiction chills makes this a creature-feature standout of its era.
